Jessica Brookshire is the Associate Director for Public Affairs at the University of Notre Dame. Jessica focuses on building partnerships with local nonprofits and community groups while working with faculty, staff and students to promote engagement within our community.
Josh Kellems is the Primary Care Health Systems Manager for the American Cancer Society covering all of Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan. Josh has over 13 years of health education experience with a recent focus in increasing cancer screening rates and reduce cancer screening disparities.
Waldo Mikels-Carrasco is the Director of Community & Population Health Development at Michiana Health Information Network. Waldo initiates research, develops coordination and program leadership for core regional population health initiatives, as well as coordinates and maintains the annual Population Health Strategic Plan for a regional health information exchange in northern Indiana.
Kate Voelker is the Executive Director of RiverBend Cancer Services, a local non-profit that provides supportive programs for cancer survivors, their families and caregivers. Although RiverBend is not a research organization, Kate and her staff partner with Harper Cancer Research Institute to research specific aspects of survivorship, distress management and quality of life.
