HCRI Cancer Research Day - CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The Harper Cancer Research Institute's 12th annual Cancer Research Day will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024. This event showcases HCRI's multidisciplinary cancer research. This will be an in-person event at the Morris Inn.

The Abstract Submission Deadline is 11:59 pm on Thursday, March 28th. Submit abstracts HERE. Oral presentations by trainees will be selected from competing abstracts and poster prizes will be awarded.

One-Step Registration: Symposia Registration for Poster Presenters will be collected during the abstract submission process.

We are pleased to announce this year's keynote speaker is Dr. Nicholas J. Petrelli, M.D., F.A.C.S.  presenting “Cancer Care Statewide: The Impact of Clinical &Translational Cancer Research”  

Dr. Petrelli, a nationally recognized expert on colorectal cancer, joined ChristianaCare as the Bank of America-endowed medical director of the Graham Cancer Center in August 2001. As medical director, Dr. Petrelli oversees the state's largest and most technologically advanced cancer program, including cancer detection, diagnosis, and treatment. Under his leadership. the Graham Cancer Center was selected as a National Cancer Institute Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) and one of the original 16 NCI Community Cancer Centers Programs (NCCCP).

Research Day is free and open to the public.
