Emily Cronberger has returned to Notre Dame to serve as a Tissue Bank Specialist at the Harper Cancer Research Institute’s biorepository. She is responsible for maintaining the biorepository, its equipment, developing SOPs, and training new users on instruments. Beyond those responsibilities, she is taking point in the growth and development of the organoid facility within the biorepository. She graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Animal Science. Prior to rejoining Notre Dame, Emily served as a research scientist with HSIRI Therapeutics Inc. where she assisted in the development and evaluation of novel drug treatments using BSL 2 & 3 bacterial, fungal and mammalian cell cultures as well as whole animal models. She had previously worked at Notre Dame’s Freimann Life Science Center.
