Angela is the liaison between Harper Cancer Research Institute and its community partners, student organizations, and external organizations. She communicates the Institute's mission and activities. Angela serves on various Notre Dame and community cancer-focused committees.

In addition to her community engagement role, Angela oversees the Research Cures Cancer Corps (RC3) program, which provides high school students with hands-on cancer research lab experiences at HCRI during the summer. RC3 offers personal, professional, and leadership growth potential and encourages participants to pursue careers in biomedical fields, particularly cancer research.

Angela also coordinates the Institute's wide range of activities, from symposiums to community events and HCRI's annual flagship event, Cancer Research Day.

Angela received a Master of Nonprofit Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame and her undergraduate degree in Marketing from Indiana State University. She has worked for the University of Notre Dame since 2004 and joined the staff at Harper in 2011.
