Thanks to the Adopt-A-Highway program, volunteers from multiple labs at the University, along with their families and friends, were able to serve our community. The volunteers split up into groups and cleaned along a two mile stretch of Route 933 from the Inn at St. Mary’s to Memorial Hospital.  Not only were they serving their community, but also the lab that had the most volunteers won a pizza party! Congratulations to the Prosperi lab for winning!  Harper Cancer Research Institute would like to thank the faculty and staff from the Stack, Prosperi and Stahelin labs, along with the Eck Institute for Global Health, for donating your time to clean up our highway. Everyone did a fantastic job!
