The No. 12 University of Notre Dame women’s lacrosse team will hold their annual Daughters for Dads fundraiser at Noon ET on Sunday, when they host No. 2 North Carolina at Arlotta Stadium. The Saint Joseph Health System will donate $25 to Harper Cancer Research Institute for every fan that attends Sunday’s game.

In honor of Irish lacrosse alumni whose fathers lost their fight to cancer, Notre Dame’s Daughters for Dads campaign will raise money for Notre Dame’s Harper Cancer Research Institute.

Early-arriving fans will receive a commemorative Daughters for Dads 16-ounce glass, sponsored by ABC 57 News.

Notre Dame encourages fans to pay $5 to participate in the lacrosse toss at halftime, with the lucky winner receiving a $150 shopping spree at the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore.

During halftime, Professor Sharon Stack of Harper Cancer Research Institute will be honored for her contributions in the fight against cancer. Harper Cancer Research Institute has designated April as the Month of Hope, and the Daughters for Dads fundraiser will launch the campaign.

Fans also have the chance to win a free appetizer from Papa Vino’s by paying $5 for three throws at the Beat Cancer with a Stick station on the concourse.
