Volunteers from Harper Cancer Research Institute (HCRI) completed the fall Adopt-a-Highway clean up on September 5. Special thanks go to Molly and Ted Niezer (ND ’84) who saw our Facebook post and decided to stop by and lend a hand! Molly, Ted and the rest of the crew picked up trash (including lots of golf balls) along a two mile stretch of Route 933 from the Inn @ St. Mary’s to Memorial Hospital. The HCRI Adopt-a-Highway program, initiated in fall of 2012, provides a great opportunity for HCRI faculty, staff, trainees, and associates to serve our community and contribute to a cleaner environment. Thanks to the following HCRI members for helping our community: Andy Bullock, Angela Cavalieri, Paul Helquist, Jeff Johnson, Yueying Liu, and Sharon Stack.
