NETRF is proud to announce that Laurie E. Littlepage, Ph.D., the Campbell Family Associate Professor of Cancer Research at the University of Notre Dame, has joined the NETRF Board of Directors effective January 2023.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Laurie to our Board,” said Elyse Gellerman, NETRF’s CEO. “She brings her impressive academic and research experience as well as her personal experience to her new role, and we are so grateful that she has accepted our invitation.”

“Meeting doctors involved in NETRF has highlighted to me what a special community NETRF fosters through its mission. Research will advance our understanding of NET disease progression and treatment strategies designed to help patients so that they can continue to live life with this disease,” she said.

Dr. Littlepage’s research lab at Notre Dame focuses on breast cancer, as well as addressing scientific questions that are relevant to other cancers. She studies the interactions between cancer cells and their surrounding microenvironment during metastasis, therapy resistance, and therapeutic delivery.
