The American Association for Cancer Research 2013 Cancer Progress Report continues to highlight the many advances and breakthroughs in cancer treatment and emphasizes the need for continued investment in cancer research. Amazing progress has been made against cancer because of the dedicated work of researchers throughout the biomedical research enterprise. Our efforts continue to spur the translation of scientific discoveries into new and better ways to prevent, detect, diagnose, and treat cancer.
