Several science and engineering faculty affiliated with Notre Dame’s Center for Nano Science and Technology (NDnano) have full-time, 10-week research opportunities available for summer 2016. Applications from current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will be accepted through February 5, 2016, and students awarded a fellowship will receive a $5,250 stipend to cover their summer travel and living expenses. The 20+ projects available span a wide range of nano-related research.

“This is an exceptional opportunity for top students to immerse themselves in research under the guidance of some of the world’s most talented investigators in the field of nanotechnology,” said Dr. David Balkin, NDnano’s managing director. “Outside the lab, the program also provides students a variety of networking and professional skill-building opportunities.”

More than 150 students from around the world have participated in the NDnano program since its inception.
