Every year, Mike Brey and his coaching staff take part in the Suits and Sneakers awareness week on behalf of the Coaches vs. Cancer program, founded by the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (more than 4,000 college and high school coaches are expected to participate). 

On January 24, Brey and his assistant coaches will be wearing their Under Armour basketball shoes along with their more formal coats, slacks--and some ties. The coaches wear sneakers to remind the public about all the ways they can reduce their risk of cancer--eating right, exercising, making healthy lifestyle choices and following cancer screening guidelines.
